Community Guidelines

    Hoop Verified is a community built around youth basketball. We are committed to maintaining a safe, respectful, and positive environment for all users — especially minors. These guidelines apply to all content and interactions on the Platform.

    1. Respect and Sportsmanship

    • Treat all users with respect, regardless of age, skill level, race, gender, or background
    • Encourage and support fellow athletes
    • Constructive criticism is welcome; personal attacks are not

    2. Prohibited Content

    The following content is strictly prohibited:

    • Harassment and bullying: Targeting, intimidating, or threatening any user
    • Hate speech: Content promoting discrimination or violence based on protected characteristics
    • Explicit or sexual content: Nudity, sexually suggestive content, or content inappropriate for minors
    • Violence and threats: Threats of harm, glorification of violence, or dangerous activities
    • False claims: Fabricated stats, fake credentials, impersonation of athletes, coaches, or scouts
    • Illegal content: Content that promotes or facilitates illegal activity
    • Spam and scams: Unsolicited promotions, phishing, or fraudulent schemes
    • Privacy violations: Sharing another person's private information without consent

    3. Content Standards

    • All profile information must be accurate and truthful
    • Photos and videos must be appropriate for all ages
    • Content must not infringe on copyrights or intellectual property rights
    • Users must have rights to all content they upload

    4. Protecting Minors

    • Never contact minors outside the Platform without parental consent
    • Do not solicit personal information from minors
    • Report any suspicious behavior involving minors immediately
    • Adults interacting with minors must do so in a professional, appropriate manner

    5. Moderation and Enforcement

    We reserve the right to review, remove, or restrict any content that violates these guidelines. Enforcement actions may include:

    • Content removal: Offending content may be removed without notice
    • Warning: First-time or minor violations may result in a warning
    • Temporary suspension: Repeated or serious violations may result in temporary account suspension
    • Permanent termination: Severe or repeated violations may result in permanent account termination

    6. Reporting Violations

    If you encounter content or behavior that violates these guidelines, please report it immediately by contacting us at support@sportsverified.com. All reports are reviewed promptly and handled confidentially.

    7. Appeals

    If your content is removed or your account is restricted, you may appeal the decision by contacting us at support@sportsverified.com. Appeals are reviewed on a case-by-case basis, and our decision is final.

    8. Changes to Guidelines

    We may update these Community Guidelines at any time. Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of the updated guidelines.
