By accessing and using Hoop Verified ("the Platform"), operated by Sports Verified LLC ("we," "us," or "our"), you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service, our Privacy Policy, our Children's Privacy Policy, and all other policies incorporated by reference. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Platform.
To use the Platform, you must be at least 13 years old. Users under 18 years old must have parental or guardian consent and supervision.
If you are a parent or legal guardian creating or managing an account on behalf of a minor, you agree that:
You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or pose a risk to other users, at our sole discretion and without prior notice. We may also remove, restrict, or disable access to any content or features associated with your account. No refund or compensation will be provided for any suspension or termination. Our decision to suspend or terminate an account is final and not subject to appeal.
Players may apply for "Hoop Verified" status by submitting a current report card. The verification process includes:
Hoop Verified status may be revoked if the player fails to maintain academic standards or provides fraudulent documentation.
All player rankings, ratings, scores, and evaluations published on the Platform are subjective, algorithmic, and editorial in nature. They represent the Platform's independent assessment and opinion based on available data, evaluator input, and proprietary algorithms. By using the Platform, you acknowledge and agree that:
The Platform is not affiliated with any governing body, league, or official ranking authority. The Platform does not guarantee outcomes, exposure, recruitment, or performance results. Users should not rely on rankings or Platform content as a sole basis for decisions regarding athletic development or opportunities.
All disputes regarding rankings, ratings, scores, evaluations, or any related outcomes are handled internally by Sports Verified LLC at our sole discretion. Our decisions regarding ranking positions, score calculations, and evaluation results are final and not subject to appeal. You agree not to pursue legal action, arbitration, or any external dispute resolution process solely on the basis of a ranking position, rating, or evaluation outcome.
All rankings published on the Platform are independent, unofficial, and not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sanctioned by any school, league, governing body, athletic association, or organization (including but not limited to the NCAA, NAIA, AAU, state athletic associations, or any high school or youth basketball league). Rankings reflect the Platform's own editorial assessment and proprietary algorithms. No school, coach, scout, or organization is obligated to consider or act upon any ranking published on this Platform. Rankings should not be interpreted as endorsements, guarantees, or representations by any third party.
You are solely responsible for the accuracy, legality, and appropriateness of all content you post, upload, or share on the Platform, including profile information, photos, videos, comments, and posts. You represent and warrant that your content does not violate any applicable law or the rights of any third party.
The Platform reserves the right to remove, edit, or restrict any user-generated content at any time, for any reason, without notice. Content that violates our Community Guidelines may result in account suspension or termination.
Users may not:
By uploading or posting content (including photos, videos, highlights, and profile information) on the Platform, you grant Sports Verified LLC a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable, and transferable license to use, reproduce, display, distribute, and create derivative works from your content in connection with the Platform's services, marketing, and promotional activities.
For minor users, the parent or legal guardian consents to the use of the minor's name, likeness, photographs, videos, and other media uploaded to the Platform in accordance with this media release. This consent extends to use in press releases, social media posts, marketing materials, newsletters, promotional content, and editorial features published by or on behalf of Sports Verified LLC. Parents may revoke this consent at any time by contacting us or adjusting settings through the Parent Dashboard.
Content submitted to the Platform, including player profiles, rankings, statistics, and media, may be used in press releases, articles, social media posts, and other promotional materials. By using the Platform, you acknowledge that such use is within the scope of the license granted herein and does not require additional compensation or notification.
Parents or legal guardians may request removal of their child's content from the Platform by contacting us at support@sportsverified.com or through the Parent Dashboard. We will process removal requests within a reasonable timeframe. However, we cannot guarantee removal of content that has already been shared, cached, or redistributed by third parties, including search engines, social media platforms, or other users.
All orders placed through the Platform are subject to our acceptance. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order for any reason, including errors in pricing, product descriptions, or availability. If an order is cancelled after payment, a full refund will be issued to the original payment method.
While we strive for accuracy, pricing errors may occur. We reserve the right to correct any pricing errors and to cancel orders placed at incorrect prices. Prices are listed in U.S. Dollars and do not include applicable taxes or shipping costs unless otherwise stated.
All physical products sold on the Platform are made to order (print-on-demand). Due to the custom nature of these items:
Risk of loss and title for products pass to you upon delivery to the shipping carrier.
Physical products sold through the Platform are provided "as is" without any warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. Products are used entirely at your own risk. Sports Verified LLC is not liable for any injury, damage, or loss resulting from the use or misuse of any product purchased through the Platform. Sports Verified LLC is not the manufacturer of products sold on the Platform and is not responsible for third-party manufacturing defects, material quality, or production errors beyond providing a replacement or refund for verified defective items as described in our Refund Policy.
The Platform may offer virtual currency ("Coins") for use within the Platform. By purchasing or earning Coins, you agree that:

Your use of the Platform is governed by our Privacy Policy and, for users under 18, our Children's Privacy Policy, which are incorporated into these Terms by reference. Please review these policies to understand our data collection and use practices.
The Platform, including its design, features, and content (excluding user-generated content), is owned by Sports Verified LLC and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
We respect intellectual property rights and respond to valid takedown notices under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act. See our DMCA Policy for details on how to submit a takedown request.
The Platform may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or terms of service of any third-party sites.
THE PLATFORM AND ALL CONTENT, PRODUCTS, AND SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT THE PLATFORM WILL BE ERROR-FREE, SECURE, OR CONTINUOUSLY AVAILABLE.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL SPORTS VERIFIED LLC, ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, OR AFFILIATES BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM.
OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100.00) OR (B) THE TOTAL AMOUNT YOU HAVE PAID TO US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS IMMEDIATELY PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Sports Verified LLC, its officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to:
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Any legal proceedings arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Fort Bend County, Texas, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.
Except as provided below, any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the Platform shall be resolved by binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association ("AAA") under its Consumer Arbitration Rules. The arbitration shall be conducted in Fort Bend County, Texas, or at a location mutually agreed upon by the parties.
YOU AND SPORTS VERIFIED LLC AGREE THAT ANY DISPUTE RESOLUTION PROCEEDINGS WILL BE CONDUCTED ONLY ON AN INDIVIDUAL BASIS AND NOT IN A CLASS, CONSOLIDATED, OR REPRESENTATIVE ACTION. If for any reason a claim proceeds in court rather than in arbitration, both parties waive any right to a jury trial.
Notwithstanding the above, either party may bring an individual action in small claims court for disputes within the court's jurisdictional limits.
You may opt out of the arbitration and class action waiver provisions by sending written notice to Sports Verified LLC at 4659 Wright Rd, Stafford, TX 77477 within 30 days of first accepting these Terms. Your notice must include your name, email address, and a clear statement that you wish to opt out. If you opt out, all other provisions of these Terms remain in effect.
Sports Verified LLC is not an agent, recruiter, scout, or representative of any user, player, parent, coach, team, school, or organization. The Platform is a technology service that provides tools for player visibility, rankings, and engagement. No relationship created through the Platform shall be construed as an agency, partnership, joint venture, employment, or fiduciary relationship. The Platform does not guarantee any opportunities, outcomes, recruitment offers, scholarships, team placements, or other results from use of the Platform.
If you have a concern about a charge, you agree to contact us first at support@sportsverified.com before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute with your bank or payment provider. We are committed to resolving billing issues promptly. Filing a chargeback or payment dispute without first attempting to resolve the issue directly with us may be considered a violation of these Terms and may result in:
The Company reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to modify, suspend, or remove any account, content, ranking, feature, or service at any time without notice or liability. This includes but is not limited to player profiles, rankings, evaluations, articles, user-generated content, and any Platform features or functionality.
The Company does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any user-submitted information and is not responsible for errors, omissions, or misrepresentations in user profiles, player statistics, academic records, or other content submitted by users. Users are solely responsible for the accuracy of information they provide to the Platform.
All purchases of virtual currency (Coins), digital goods, digital collectibles, or in-platform credits arefinal and non-refundable, except where required by applicable law. No refunds, credits, or exchanges will be issued for unused or expired virtual currency. Virtual currency has no cash value and cannot be redeemed for real currency under any circumstances.
By using the Platform, you acknowledge and agree that the Company shall not be liable for any emotional distress, reputational harm, psychological impact, or perceived injury arising from the use of the Platform, including but not limited to: ranking positions or changes thereto, evaluations, player comparisons, public profiles, comments, or any other content or feature. You use the Platform at your own risk and accept that competitive environments may involve outcomes that are perceived as unfavorable.
The Platform relies on third-party service providers for payment processing (Stripe), cloud infrastructure, email delivery, analytics, error tracking (Sentry), and other services. The Company is not responsible for the acts, omissions, outages, or data practices of any third-party provider. Users acknowledge that the Platform's functionality may be affected by the availability and performance of these third-party services. The Company makes no warranties regarding third-party services and shall not be held liable for any damages arising from their use.
While the Company employs industry-standard security measures to protect user data and Platform integrity,no system is completely secure. The Company does not guarantee that the Platform is immune to unauthorized access, data breaches, or cyberattacks. Users are responsible for maintaining the security of their own account credentials and should report any suspected unauthorized access immediately.
Purchasing any product, subscription, virtual currency, or service on the Platform does not guarantee any specific outcome, result, exposure, recruitment opportunity, or benefit beyond the digital or physical goods described at the time of purchase. Paid features are provided "as-is" and the Company makes no representations regarding the effectiveness, value, or impact of any paid feature on a user's athletic career, rankings, or opportunities.
Paid features do not influence rankings, selection, or outcomes. Rankings are determined independently of any purchase or subscription. Purchases do not confer any advantage in rankings, evaluations, or selection outcomes.
All charges are clearly disclosed prior to purchase and require user consent. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. No hidden fees, automatic upgrades, or undisclosed charges will be applied without your express authorization.
Content published on the Platform — including articles, scouting reports, player evaluations, rankings commentary, and features — may contain opinions, editorial assessments, and subjective analysis. Such content does not constitute statements of fact. The Company does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or currentness of any editorial content. All editorial content is provided for informational and entertainment purposes only and should not be relied upon as professional advice or factual reporting.
Publication, ranking, or featuring of any player, team, event, organization, or product on the Platform does not constitute an endorsement, recommendation, or guarantee by Sports Verified LLC. The Platform's coverage and inclusion of any individual or entity is purely editorial and does not imply any special relationship, partnership, or validation of abilities, character, or qualifications.
Users acknowledge that content shared publicly on the Platform — including rankings, profiles, and media — may be accessed, shared, or redistributed by third parties, including social media platforms, search engines, news outlets, and other users. Sports Verified LLC is not responsible for the actions, use, or misuse of Platform content by third parties once such content has been made publicly available. Users who share Platform content on external platforms do so at their own risk and responsibility.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes via email or Platform notification. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, Children's Privacy Policy, Refund Policy, Community Guidelines, and all other policies referenced herein, constitute the entire agreement between you and Sports Verified LLC regarding the use of the Platform.
