Event Terms & Liability Waiver

    Event Operator: All combine events, camps, tryouts, and in-person athletic events listed on this platform are operated by Combine Events, LLC. Hoop Verified and SportsVerified are sponsors and platform partners — not event operators.

    1. Event Operator

    All events (including but not limited to combines, camps, tryouts, showcases, and tournaments) advertised or registered through this platform are operated by Combine Events, LLC. Hoop Verified (operated by Sports Verified LLC) serves as a sponsor and technology platform partner and is not the event operator, host, or organizer.

    2. Assumption of Risk

    By registering for or attending any event operated by Combine Events, LLC, you acknowledge that participation in athletic activities involves inherent risks, including but not limited to:

    • Physical injury, including sprains, fractures, concussions, or other bodily harm
    • Exposure to communicable diseases
    • Loss or damage to personal property
    • Risks associated with travel to and from event venues

    You voluntarily assume all such risks and agree to participate at your own risk.

    3. Liability Waiver and Release

    By registering for any event, you (and, if applicable, the parent or legal guardian of a minor participant) agree to release, waive, discharge, and hold harmless the following parties from any and all liability, claims, demands, or causes of action arising from participation:

    • Combine Events, LLC — event operator
    • Sports Verified LLC (Hoop Verified / SportsVerified) — platform sponsor and partner
    • Their respective officers, directors, employees, agents, and volunteers
    • Event venues, property owners, and facility operators

    4. Parental Consent for Minors

    If the participant is under 18 years of age, a parent or legal guardian must complete registration and accept these terms on behalf of the minor. By doing so, the parent/guardian:

    • Consents to the minor's participation in the event
    • Accepts the assumption of risk and liability waiver on the minor's behalf
    • Authorizes emergency medical treatment if necessary and the parent/guardian is unavailable
    • Confirms the minor is physically fit to participate

    5. Media Release

    By attending or participating in an event, you consent to the use of photographs, video recordings, and other media captured during the event by Combine Events, LLC and its partners (including Hoop Verified / SportsVerified) for promotional, editorial, and marketing purposes.

    6. Medical Disclaimer

    Combine Events, LLC does not provide medical advice or medical services. Participants are responsible for ensuring they are medically cleared to participate. If a participant has any medical conditions, allergies, or special needs, it is the responsibility of the participant (or parent/guardian) to disclose this information during registration.

    7. Refund and Cancellation Policy

    • Refund requests must be submitted at least 7 days before the event date
    • No refunds will be issued for no-shows or cancellations within 7 days of the event
    • Combine Events, LLC reserves the right to cancel or reschedule events due to weather, venue availability, or insufficient registrations
    • In the event of cancellation by the operator, full refunds will be issued

    8. Code of Conduct

    All participants, parents, coaches, and spectators are expected to:

    • Demonstrate good sportsmanship at all times
    • Follow instructions from event staff and officials
    • Refrain from abusive, threatening, or unsportsmanlike behavior
    • Respect event property, equipment, and facilities

    Combine Events, LLC reserves the right to remove any individual from an event for violations of this code of conduct, without refund.

    9. Limitation of Liability

    To the fullest extent permitted by law, neither Combine Events, LLC nor Sports Verified LLC shall be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from event participation, including but not limited to personal injury, property damage, or economic loss.

    10. Indemnification

    You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Combine Events, LLC and Sports Verified LLC from and against any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your participation in any event or your violation of these terms.

    11. Governing Law

    These Event Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts located in Fort Bend County, Texas.

    12. Relationship Clarification

    For the avoidance of doubt:

    • Combine Events, LLC is the event operator and organizer
    • Sports Verified LLC (Hoop Verified / SportsVerified) is a sponsor and technology platform partner that provides registration, ranking, and media services
    • Neither entity is an agent, employee, or representative of the other
